Bright Ideas & The Nine Incorporated Trades of Dundee
Bright Ideas,听thanks to funding from The Nine Trades, encourages听local children to aspire to higher education. It is a creative learning journey for S3 pupils in Dundee, inspired by the subjects taught at Abertay.
Bright Ideas has听been so successful that it has been extended into Angus and has inspired other organisations to give. Bright Ideas is currently online until the pandemic is over.
The Northwood Charitable Trust & PhD research
The Northwood听Charitable Trust supports graduate scholarships for PhD research in areas like applying games technology to health care, cybersecurity and elder health. This has strengthened our ability to attract other research funding as well as producing talented researchers.

The Mathew Trust supporting Autistic Students
Graduates with autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) are statically less likely to find full-time graduate-level employment. Expanding employment opportunities for ASD students and graduates is an important initiative funded by The Mathew Trust with Inclusion Scotland.
Providing mentoring and tailored support means those students have improved employment opportunities, while employers benefit from their unique skills and qualities.
